Macrame Crescent Moon Wall Hanging

This intermediate macrame class will guide you through making your own crescent moon wall hanging using the ancient art of macrame.

For this project, we will be creating over a crescent moon made out of stainless steel, specially made locally for Little House of Macrame as well as 100% Canadian recycled cotton cords, making this a great addition to your skillset of sustainable practices.

INSTRUCTOR: Barbara Rahal, Little House of Macrame

DISCUSSION: An overview of macrame and practice of basic knots for the project. In your project, we will use 4 types of macrame knots: larks head knot, square knot clove hitch knot and gathering knot. We will also cover adding variations that can be added to the project.

INCLUDED: All materials required are provided as well as coffee, tea, filtered water and snacks. We have a fridge and a microwave for your convenience should you need to bring anything. 

PREREQUISITE: Kindly note! that this is not a beginners class, some basic knotting experience is necessary or attended a previous class with Barb.

NOTE: Class size is limited to 8 people. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to very small class sizes, we are unable to offer refunds on workshops. If for any reason you are unable to attend, your options are to send someone in your place or transfer to a new date. Date transfers require a $65 administration fee. You would have up to one year to apply your transfer to the new workshop date. Thanks for your understanding!
